Reflections at Visit Concord
Is it something in the air at summer’s end? A quiet pull to reflect on vibrant days that slipped by way too fast? Or maybe a longing for the cool stillness of water, mirroring the world just as it is? Either way, there are two upcoming art shows in the East Bay sharing a similar theme: Reflections. And I’m thrilled to be part of both.
The first show opens at Visit Concord—a lovely local visitor center with a dedicated gallery wall featuring CAA artists. It’s a brand-new venue for me, and I fell in love with it right away. Tucked in downtown Concord right across from the park, it opens into a charming courtyard full of flowers, centered around a gently babbling stone fountain and an eye-catching mosaic wall. I wish I could have stayed longer to grab a coffee, sit down, and sketch, but after dropping off my piece (and making a quick stop at another local gallery), I had to rush back.
The exhibition opens tomorrow! Please stop by to enjoy the art, or join me at the reception to say hi in person.
